We hired Highland hog roast for our wedding catering. We held at Braehead glamping. We had the bbq buffet with pork and apple burgers, venison, and the halloumi skewers; as well as a selection of salads. They were more than happy to put on vegan options on for the few that we had. When they arrived, they were happy to set up and get on. Everyone was very happy with the food. The left overs were fought over the next day! Thanks again guys. From Alex & Nathan

Five stars aren’t enough to award Highland Hog Roasts - they are spot on every single time. They are a family run business and it truly shows by their warmth and kindness to every customer they serve. Highland hospitality at its finest!
Every event I see them at, I will go out my way to have one of their hog rolls - believe me when I tell you they are legendary. Great value for money and the quality of meat is superb, you can tell the family are very passionate about the food they produce.
I urge anyone to pay them a visit whenever you next see them at an event or even pay their ‘Highland Pulled Meats’ a visit located at the Victorian Market in Inverness - you will not be disappointed!!

I’ve been to many an event where the team at Highland Hog Roasts have catered for and there’s a reason I always end up sauntering over and grabbing a bit of scran.
The famous Hog Roll, has been a mainstay for years now and it’s easy to see why. A perfect balance of juicy and tender pork, crispy crackling and the sweet apple sauce. Unreal!
The service is quick and efficient with incredibly friendly staff which makes a huge difference when in amongst a busy environment.
Already looking forward to the next time I stumble upon them - hopefully not too far away!

Myself and my lad had pies at Ross county today & tbh worst pies I’ve ever had to endure.. £4 each and no gravy and haggis pie was like a stone… bring back Deas

I recently attended a wedding that was catered by Highland Hogroast.
The food was very disappointing (overcooked meat, dry and cold buns, and no condiments for the burgers). They brought out tea at the end of the night but by the time any guests realized it was available they had taken it away (1 hour after they served it).
Would recommend looking elsewhere for catering if possible.

Regretfully hired Highland Hog Roasts for my wedding. The lack of communication between Ann, Danielle and the staff in the months leading up to the wedding was abysmal, we were repeatedly having to tell staff of basic decisions such as food and drink choices. They even no showed to a pre arranged zoom meeting which only added to the stress of organizing a wedding.
Ann and staff members were incredibly disrespectful to wedding guests and were repeatedly clearing full, unfinished drinks forcing people to buy new drinks from their bar. This went on throughout the evening.
After clearly discussing and documenting some of the guests basic dietary requirements well ahead of time, vegetarians were told by staff to “eat the salad”, even though Ann had prepared veggie burgers but left them in the kitchen.
Tea service was taken away from guests after 1 hour of being laid out, condiments were not made available, our coordinator and wedding guests had to help clear tables because they were understaffed…the list goes on.
During the dinner and bar service they obviously did not want to be there and made that quite apparent by bickering among each other. Fortunately for us not much can get in the way of a good ceilidh and we had a fantastic time regardless.
I can’t express this to anyone enough. If you are looking for someone to cater an event. KEEP LOOKING.

We used highland hog roast for our wedding on Skye and their services were beyond disappointing. The communication, quality of food, price and attitude of the staff all left a lot to be desired.
It can be hard to find event caterers in the highlands but if you’re planning an event, find someone else.

Highland Hog Roast did an excellent job of catering for our wedding at Drumnadrochit, keeping us right before and on the big day. The team were friendly and professional, and we would definately recommend them!

Hamish and I had great takeaway from HHR last night! The food was delicious. Great to have this service available during lock down. The Monster Hog Roast Roll was a massive hit and devoured within minutes. Thank you!

The most tasty pork roll you will ever have! Complete with crackling of course. The mac n cheese gets a thumbs up from a picky 9 year old too!
